The ALOUD Forum provided a platform for Senior Staff to share information on on-going or future innovative projects amongst APRU member universities.
At the 5th Senior Staff Meeting, a representative from each university was provided an opportunity to share verbally on not more than 2 projects/developments/ collaborations which satisfy the following criteria:
Have an impact on the Pacific Rim, and/or
Be unique in terms of its approach or nature, and/or
Be seeking potential partnership opportunities with other APRU universities, and/or
Stimulate the interest of or involve other APRU members.
Format of Session
The ALOUD Forum was planned with the idea of having members share information verbally on on-going or innovative projects in their universities in a more informal and interactive manner. In the interest of interactivity and time constraint, the use of presentations slides was not possible. Speakers were provided the following options for documentation purposes:
Prepare and bring handouts for distribution at the meeting, and
Send the APRU Secretariat a softcopy of the handout for uploading onto the APRU website.
