This international program aims to nurture and support doctoral students in their professional aspirations in academia. The Doctoral Students Conference enhances the international experience of doctoral students by providing both network opportunities and a supportive venue for constructive peer critique of ongoing research efforts. The papers presented address a range of topics grouped under an annual theme. Workshop sessions preparing doctoral students for an academic career are also conducted during the conference.
Read about the Doctoral Students Network (DSN), a self-governed graduate students’ organization under the umbrella of APRU. The DSN aims to connect doctoral students in the Pacific Rim and further research dialogues though the annual Doctoral Students Conferences.
