University of Hong Kong (HKU) hosted the 3^rd APRU Education Deans Meeting on December 1, 2010. With a focus on Global Learners and Global Educators, the meeting provided a platform for the sharing of best practices and identification of research gaps and barriers faced by schools of education. The 3^rd Meeting also explored the possibility of collaboration among APRU members on a research project focused on higher education. Deans were invited to bring along 1-2 members of their faculty who could drive or contribute to the research project after the meeting.

As an added benefit, all participants were invited to attend the International Conference on Enhancing Learning Experiences in Higher Education (ELEHE) organized by HKU from December 2 to 3, 2010. Information on the ELEHE conference can be found at http://www.cetl.hku.hk/conference2010/.
